Community involvement

At Mooney Everett Solicitors, we are an integral part of the local community.

Each year, our lawyers support many local charities by holding fundraising events both as a team and as individuals. One of the local charities close to our heart is Queenscourt Hospice in Southport, whose wonderful work supports the terminally ill and their relatives.

Our family law team is a partner of Voices in the Middle, a national charity that provides invaluable assistance to children and young people caught in the middle of adult conflict as a result of separation and divorce.

The wills and probate team continue to maintain strong links with many local charities such as Age UK and generously donate their time to make free wills on Make a Will Week. They are also extremely proud to be Dementia Friends, having completed the dementia friendly training from the Alzheimer’s society. We have been striving to make our offices more dementia friendly, as well as being part of the dementia friendly community in Ormskirk. We have contributed to awareness raising events as part of National Dementia Week and have held fundraising events for Dementia UK.

At Mooney Everett, we are always ready to join in the fun on national fundraising days such Comic Relief, Children in Need and Douglas Macmillan Coffee Mornings. Many of us also like to put on our running shoes for The Star Trekk Moonlight walk held every year in Southport.

In the run-up to Christmas, the Mooney Everett office opens to collect donations for the Ormskirk Foodbank. Our staff donate their time to support the foodbank by collecting and sorting food, drinks and toiletries to be distributed for people in crisis who are struggling to provide for themselves and their families over the festive period.

Our lawyers are also available to talk to local charities and community organisations.
