Come and join the lawyers at Mooney Everett Solicitors in Ormskirk, Lancashire who will be baking up an extra helping of hope for people affected by dementia on 15 June in support of The Alzheimer’s Society Cupcake Day.
Always keen to ensure that there is extra icing on the cake, the team of budding bakers will also be holding a dress down day when uniting to raise funds and awareness for dementia by selling on their culinary creations.
“Dementia is the number one cause of death in England and Wales. It does not discriminate and currently there is no cure,” says Gayle.
“Being prepared is the only defence against dementia, which is why we help families record their wishes for their health and welfare and appoint trusted family or friends in relation to their property and finances by making lasting powers of attorney, and ensure their wishes are put in writing by making a will and we provide guidance for their particular situation and assets.”
Since becoming Alzheimer’s Society Dementia Friends, Mooney Everett Solicitors has strived to make their offices and working practices more dementia friendly, as well as being part of the dementia friendly communities in Ormskirk, Maghull, Burscough, Lancashire.
We would love you to join us in support of this great cause, so if you are in the area please do pop in and sample some tasty treats at our offices at 30 Derby Street, Ormskirk, L39 2BY.
