Susan is a director at Mooney Everett Solicitors and has been involved in conveyancing and advising private clients for more than 30 years. She is a chartered legal executive and a Commissioner for Oaths.
Susan’s conveyancing work includes helping clients to buy or sell their property in Ormskirk, Lancashire and surrounding areas such as Southport, Skelmersdale, Burscough and Maghull. She also advises on remortgage and transfer of equity. She has close working relationships with the local estate agents and ensures that any property transaction runs smoothly and efficiently through to completion.
Susan is also a full member of Solicitors for the Elderly and advises clients on matters such as the Court of Protection, making a will, probate, estate administration and power of attorney. She also takes part in will writing days around the local area at branches of Age UK.
Susan joined Mooney Everett Solicitors in 2007 from a firm of solicitors in Southport. Throughout the years, Susan has worked hard in various firms and has been involved in all aspects of office procedures from IT development to management and business development but her heart lies in helping clients. Susan especially enjoys personal interaction with clients face to face.
Susan provides advice to clients on:
- residential conveyancing;
- buying or selling a house or flat;
- buying at auction;
- investment and buy-to-let property;
- transfer of title;
- shared ownership; and
- private client matters.
Susan loves working in Ormskirk, and says: ‘the local people are so genuinely warm and friendly. I have lots of meetings and it is touching how willingly clients listen to the advice provided. It always makes me look forward to meeting with clients, whether it is with new or existing clients, as I always feel I am really helping them.’
In her spare time Susan tries to get to the gym as often as she can.
